1982 Hamer Special. Made in USA. Cherry Burst, Original Case. VG+

Hello again from the Silo, Southaven, NY.

This time around we’re looking at a Hamer Special made in the USA in 1982. There’s a very appealing unfaded cherry sunburst with a bit of flame on top, and a very strong cherry finish on the back and sides. Checkerboard logo on the headstock. It’s in very good condition, with nicks, scratches, chips and light checking here and there, a fairly large buckle rash on the back but no breaks or repairs. Take a look at the photos for the details. Original Schaller tuners. The original pickups were replaced with DiMarzio PAFs. Knobs are replacements too. All in all its a great sounding and playing guitar with a very cool vibe to it.

Please note: Our guitars are restrung, cleaned and set up before we offer them for sale, but may require some tweaking when they arrive due to shipping preparations and shipping itself. While we’ve done our best to represent this item as accurately as possible in both the written description and with photographs there is always the possibility as with all used and/or vintage items that something that was working perfectly one day isn’t working the next or was overlooked or some changes may occur during shipping. Thank you.
