Yamaha DX7 Keyboard Synthesizer (w/ Case + Accessories GALORE) (Made in Japan)
A beautifully maintained, original example of the most famous FM synthesizer in the world, the Yamaha DX7 was immediately a classic synthesizer with its iconic FM sound, intuitive programmability with MIDI capability and its rock solid, tank-like construction. A favourite of popular bands of the 80s such as Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys and Herbie Hancock, the DX7 possessed a glassy, crisp and clear digital tone that stood in stark contrast to the analog, voltage controlled synthesizers of the time. This proved to be a sound that defined the decade of the 1980s.
This particular unit is in very good condition - there are some light marks and scratches, however the keybed seems as if it has barely been touched and all buttons and programs work perfectly. It's been cleaned and serviced and the internal battery is healthy.
This particular DX7 comes with an insane number of accessories! Included is 2 x Data Cartridges packed with presets, 64 Slot E-Ram Cartridge, Breath Controller BC-1 Unit, music stand, guides on how to program sounds ft. David Bristow (only handy if you can read Japanese though), user manuals and a nice leather carry bag. This is the ultimate collectors DX7 for the ultimate 80s synth addict!
