Up for sale is a killer 2011 Gibson SG Special ‘60s Tribute in very good condition and perfect working order. We just gave this beast a pro set up with a set of Ernie Ball Turbo Slinky’s (9.5-46) so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and accurate intonation. While the neck pickup is the original P-90 the bridge has been upgraded to a DiMarzio “The Tone Zone P90” humbucker. This combination is really versatile and sound exceptional together.

Cosmetically, this instrument is really clean and has been well taken care of over the years. That said, it does exhibit some play wear such as: tiny dings scattered around and some scratches. The original frets look great still with some mild wear on frets 1-5 under only the plain strings. See pics for condition.

Besides the bridge pickup, the pickguard and tuners have also been swapped out. No extra holes were drilled for the HipShot tuners. Comes with the original black pickguard. The original bridge pickup and tuners are not included.

Comes with a generic SG hard case that fits the guitar well. The guitar weighs 6lbs 5.1oz. The nut width is 1.69”. The neck thickness is .805” at the 1st fret and .885” at the 12th fret.
