According to the olds ultratone catalog I found, I believe this is a bass baritone bugle as it takes a baritone/trombone size mouthpiece. This plays well. The slides all move and the valves are fast and responsive. two negatives - the mouthpiece is currently stuck in it and there is no case. pictured in the last picture alongside a regular trumpet and an olds ultratone mellophone bugle to give you an idea of the size and scale of this instrument. only the bass baritone bugle is for sale in this listing.
