With distributors in 58 countries around the world, Takamine is a guitar brand with loyal customers not only in Japan but throughout the world.
Originally, Takamine was subcontracted to produce guitars on an OEM basis for other companies, but in the 1970s, the company launched its own brand and began exporting guitars to overseas markets in earnest.
