The Grundig TK340 is a TUBE open-reel recorder. The ‘Studio’ TS 340 Hi Fi Stereo was a quarter-track stereo recorder with separate record and playback heads. It operated at 7½, 3¾ and 17/8 ips with 8 watts per channel amplifiers that could be used as a public address system. Side facing loudspeakers were incorporated into the cabinet.

This unit turns on, and plays forward and back. I had trouble getting a tape to play through, but I think it is because the speakers need repair. Missing one speaker cover, and visible speaker needs to be refoamed. Top cover is damaged, but still attaches. The exterior badging on the case is missing the biggest piece of trim. The smaller "Deluxe" badge is unglued, but included. For the most part very clean and all there, but it could use some servicing to work best.
