Up for sale is a used, Guild F65ce Blonde, made in 1998, in Westerly, Rhode Island. This was Guild's, top of the line, acoustic electric guitar. You could also classify it as grand concert, or performing artist model. I have had a few of these come through my store, and I am blown away each time, with the amount of volume, bass, and power these guitars can produce, given it doesn't have a full standard body depth. This one in particular has the best set of flame/curly maple sides, I have ever seen. It also has a bear claw top. There are a few imperfections in the wood that don't show up in every picture, but the bear claw is there. It is a very silky top with great wood grain figure. It comes with a AAA graded Sitka Spruce top, and curly/flame maple back and sides. The back is guild's patented arch back form, and it is not braced, giving the guitar plenty of room to vibrate.

I found this one at a guitar center, and I talked to the tech there, that brought it in, and he said it was a one owner, and the guitar never left the house of the elderly gentlemen that traded it in. It still has the two hang tags from when it was bought new and hung in a music store. The owner's manual, and case key are included too. The case is guild's deluxe, 6 latch, hardshell case, and it is in excellent condition.

As for condition, there are no cracks, no repair signs, no weather checking in the nitro/gloss finish. The body binding is in excellent shape, and the bridge is glued down well. There are various minor dings, dents, scratches, scuffs, and swirl marks. But you really have to be looking for them, even when examining the guitar in hand. The neck angle is ok, but not perfect. There is not alot of saddle left for future adjustments, but it has good playabitlity as it sits, with low action. The truss rod nut is barely even tight on the threads, so all the relief is left in the neck for future adjustments. Keep in mind when buying used and vintage guitars, you may need a set up from a local tech or luthier, to make minor adjustments to fit your style. The Fishman Matrix pick up system has an onboard blender, making it perfect for gigs, or concerts. Theres just not a lot to point out negative on this guitar. Its a super nice, hand built piece of guild history. These don't come up for sale often, i see them maybe 5-10 times a year, and i think less than 1,000 were built. There won't be any more of these built, so someone needs to snatch this one up. Thanks for looking!!!

The only guitars I buy, sell, and collect are guild acoustics. I search daily for the best, and most rare of guilds to collect, or to offer up for sale. I have over twenty years of hands-on experience with hundreds of guild guitars. I have perfect feedback on all my guitar deals, so buy with confidence. I will have some of my guitars listed on other marketplaces, so check with me before you buy. I sell my guitars "as is" with no returns, unless the guitar arrives damaged, or I have grossly misrepresented the guitar's condition, in my description and pictures. Please message me if you are interested and want to make an offer. I have more guilds for sale, and I am adding more, used and vintage guilds, weekly, to my inventory. Also, check out my website for great Guild pictures and more information. Please check back with me soon to see what gems I have found. Thanks for looking!!
