PRS Custom 24 Left Handed - 2015 30th Anniversary - 10 Top - Rare - Honey - Lefty - Great Condition

Up for sale is my PRS Custom 24 Left Handed 30th Anniversary model (with 10 top). This is an absolutely incredible, beautifully made instrument that plays and sounds at another level. Top notch, high end workmanship and sound expected of PRS.

The guitar is in great shape and works perfectly. There is some honest play wear and a few dings on the body of the guitar as pictured, but overall the guitar is in really nice condition. It was also recently set up and given a once over by a tech, and the beautiful, dark board was recently conditioned.

Included is the original hardshell case and case candy as pictured (extra trem springs/screws, strap buttons, locking tuner bolt, etc.).

Note: I ordered a custom rosewood truss rod cover, but the original 30th Anniversary cover is also included.

I can go on and on about this instrument, but PRS's reputation speaks for itself. Absolute excellence.

I am only selling because I have a number of high end guitars and want to give more time to my absolute favorite guitars instead of switching around so often. I would love to see this guitar go to a good home where it will get the play that it deserves/was made for.

The 30th Anniversary Custom 24 is specially appointed with a unique inlay pattern and commemorative truss rod cover to celebrate 30 years of PRS Guitars and the Custom 24 model. In addition to the specifications that have remained unchanged on the Custom 24 since its inception (the woods, scale length…), this 30th Anniversary edition features the new 85/15 treble and bass pickups. Designed personally by Paul Reed Smith in conjunction with the new 58/15 pickups for PRS’s 30th Anniversary year, 85/15’s are uncovered pickups with remarkable clarity and extended high and low end perfect for more modern applications.

ON THE LEFTY MODEL:
Every once in a while, a small batch of left-handed guitars are run through our production line here in Stevensville, Maryland.

The 30th Anniversary “Lefty” Custom 24 features a maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Mother of Pearl 30th Anniversary bird inlays, the PRS 5-way blade switch, and the new 85/15 treble and bass pickups. Fewer than 200 30th Anniversary Lefty Custom 24’s were made!

PICKUPS:
This year’s 30th Anniversary Custom 24 features our new 85/15 uncovered pickups - designed personally by Paul Reed Smith. Paul’s idea was to design a new pickup with remarkable clarity and an extended range (bass & treble) perfect for modern applications. It nods toward our traditional pickups while keeping an eye on innovation - part of our culture here at PRS.

BIRDS:
In addition to the updated pickups, a unique birds in flight inlay pattern decorates the neck.

TRUSS ROD:
A 30th Anniversary truss rod cover hangs on the headstock to commemorate the year.
