1983 Valley People 610 compressor. Valley's top of the line unit, cost twice the price of the dynamite when new in the 80s. King of hard slamming comps for drums, rooms, electronic music, etc...massive punch and grab like no other. Essentially a deluxe version of the Dynamite with much more control, most importantly a RATIO control that dynamites lack, making it far more versatile, so you can dial it in to perfection from extreme to subtle and everywhere else. Uses same green valley VCA gain blocks and overall circuitry and the dynamite. Add the expander into the mix which is linked in action to the compressor, and you can get crazy pumping breathing sounds in time to the beat.
