Chatting Bird - Design by Caparison CDE-HH (Dellinger clone) - Gotoh Bridge & Locking Tuners

This guitar was imported from Japan, as it was never sold in North America.  

This is an extremely high quality guitar for a budget/mid-range price. It feels really good in hand, and the neck profile is identical to the Caparison models with extra jumbo frets.  Playability is fantastic.  This particular model was upgraded to locking Gotoh tuners to match the the Gotoh 1996T bridge, and has also had a Tremol-no installed in case you wish to immobilize the bridge for alt tunings or string changes.

The guitar is freshly setup and restrung with .09's, and will ship in a good quality heavily padded gig bag.

Back in 1995 when Itaru Kanno founded Caparison to offer high-end handmade guitars, just after leaving Jackson, he also launched a more budget-friendly line of production guitars under the brand Chatting Bird. While that original Chatting Bird line consisted mainly of entry and mid-range guitars, the brand went through a complete rethink in 2000. Itaru decided to re-invent the brand by offering higher quality, but still budget-conscious, guitars that were clones of some of the high-end Caparison popular models, the Dellinger among others. This new line of guitars would be called "Chatting Bird by Caparison Design", made in Korea to high standards and inspected in Japan, with pro quality hardware, like Grover tuners and Gotoh 1996T bridges, bound neck and headstock.
