Overview
While Magnatone is more commonly recognized for its amps, the company also produced a series of guitars in California in the '50s and into the '60s. The Mark IV was a double cutaway, two-pickup entry in the Magnatone guitar line and carries the distinction of having been designed by Paul Bigsby. The pickups on this model did change during its production with the earlier examples using pickups similar to those found on Bigsby's own legendary guitar line.
