I worked my "ASH" off on this custom shop quality monster - best pickups, tuners, tremolo and wood selection. Body is a two-piece bookmarked ash body. The real deal. Fender single coil pickups. Compare this to an American Stratocaster - this is better. If you buy something for a comparable price on Reverb, how do you know it will play like a SRV Strat? This one will!

This beauty has a painstakingly hand applied relic'd driftwood body finish- with a road worn black dyed maple neck and ebony fretboard.   Road worn neck!!! It feels great in the hand. The fretboard looks like the clear finish is flaking off, and the back of the neck is smooth as silk and hand worn to emulate years of play wear.  Why, because play wear is beautiful!

This player's tool only looks old, everything is brand new and full size (like the 250K Ohm tone pots and 5 way switch).

Best Parts

Fender ALNICO matched single coil pickups.

Wilkinson/Gotoh VS-100N Tremolo - A work of art if you want tuning stability with a tremolo.

Hipshot Grip-Lock Open Gear -6 in-line Tuners for tuning stability - very precise tuning.

The fret wire work (shimmering hot dogs - hemispherical polished fret ends) and setup are worth $250 on their own.

Every guitar neck receives a FRET LEVEL, RECROWN, and FRET END DRESS to achieve those shimmering hot dogs (hemispherical polished fret ends that you will not often find on a new guitar).

I pay special detail to the "falloff" on the higher frets to achieve that 1mm low action that everyone loves. Note; I can raise the action if you prefer.

All the best parts used for this one -  and I apply the correct specifications (and luthier skills) to make it play great.

Driftwood Finish - several paint applications and techniques to arrive at this one-of-a-kind finish.

The neck is road worn and feels great.
