About This Listing

This was my second Blueberry guitar that I have bought on a whim.  This one was purchased during the Superbowl in 2011. This is a twin neck, double 6 string, acoustic with a tapering body from the lower bout to the top, with slant frets on the top fret board. Its a monster to look at but is comfortable to hold and play.  It was intended to be a "tapping" guitar and use one hand on each fret board. I was unable to master that technique on this piece; however, I did see a vid of a balinese singer play/tap both fret boards simultaneously, sing and walk on the beach at the same time! Talk about multi-tasking.
This piece was carved in Bali and assembled in Quebec.  I believe the top is spruce and am unsure on the back & sides.  The top, back & sides were "grooved" to improve the sonics of this guitar.  The wood carving and details are amazing. Please feast your eyes on the carved fretboards, headstocks, bridge(s), top, back & sides, etc.  Even the rosette was carved.  I noted several minor wood imperfections in between the necks joining the body, which was pictured.
How does this baby sound?  The lower neck when played sounds sweet and loud. The upper neck has a thinner, sweeter sound.  I need a couple more hands to play this one well.  There is a pickup, which is pictured. The batteries were removed long ago but it did work the last time I plugged it into an amp.  BTW, there are 2 truss rods, which are inside the body and were pictured.
I had Blueberry do a neck reset approximately 6 months in 2012 after I purchased the piece, due to the action being too high for tapping.  I took the piece into my local guitar shop and the guys went ape for the piece.
To me, both neck(s) are very comfortable for fingerstyle, slide playing, etc  For me, its a matter of space.
The hard shell case, as pictured, is huge and takes up lots of space. As I found out shipping was very expensive due to the size of the case.

Enjoy the pix.
