Califone card readers are used to help children read. Can be used to record loops on a strip of tape attached to a card. Has 2 separate recording channels. One for the teacher the other the student. Has 2 speeds normal and half speed. Can be plugged in or runs on 4 C batteries. Has an internal speaker and an internal mic. Has 1/4 inputs for mic and aux out as well as 1/8 mic input. This does not come with any cards. I make my own out of card stock and VHS tapes. I have a few of these, different brands and that works well. I've seen others use the inside of old floppy discs.
