#1592 neck and body date 11/15/1982. This was originally a single pickup tele bass with the standard tele headstock. It was modified at some point to a double J configuration with active Seymour Duncan pickups added and a 9v battery box in the rear. While it is obvious the job was professionally done the new routs on the front have caused some of the finish to chip away.
This bass, for whatever reason, has my favorite neck of the 13 early San Dimas Charvels that I own. It’s just special. We actually used the measurements of this neck on one of our Landon Basses that I still own and you know what…it wasn’t the same lol.
Very cool bass, sound great, feels great. Needs a new loving home.
