Rack evolution of the DX7 II. Take it's cues from the glorious TX 816, with it's 8 TF1 modules, which at the time allowed to have 8 dx7 Mk1 engines in a single rack enclosure.
The same way, TX 802 offers 8 DX7II in one box. The DX7II, being itself bi-timbral, it's like having... 4 DX7 II in a rack.
Performances, which are assemblage of up to 8 different sounds, take advantage of the 8 separate outputs, and are combined into the stereo out.
Well, to sum up, if you're into FM synthesis, this is a monster.
Internal battery is new, and I've done the reset procedure.Besides original bank A, B and performances, I've put voices (individual sounds are called voices in Yamaha langage) of a tasty cartridge (Michael Boddicker) in the I Bank (internal bank) ; )
As you can see, it's in rather clean condition, with a few scratches on the right of the upper edge. Comes with original paper manual and performance list.
Display is perfect, all switches pass easily.Sound is just plain perfect.
It will be packed with great care, so you don't have to worry about bended corners and shipping horror stories.I send this kind of gear every week, and have been doing so for a long time.
