Gibson Retail display box with 10 NOS sets of 1950s Gibson Mona-Steel Strings

Here is a retail box of NOS Gibson strings from the 1950s (possibly late 40s).  In general the packs are in great shape considering their age; the pictures tell the story and should give you a good idea of what you'll be getting.  Of course, no one should buy these with the intent of putting them on a guitar and playing them; these should be for a gift or to adorn a vintage guitar/add case candy.  Condition varies with some of the packs having almost no flaws and others having typical writing on the package, a few scuffs, slight discoloration etc.  A few are still sealed with the original tape but the tape is very loose so they could come unsealed very easily.  Some of the individual strings are in surprisingly good shape and a few were corroded in a a couple spots.  I only inspected a few of them as I wanted to limit how much I handled them.  These are sold as-is.
