Awesome late 80's Encore Strat.
This is the earlier model, with gloss finish, truss rod adjustment at the heel, Fender style headstock, thick Indian rosewood fretboard, super comfy fat frets and, wonder of wonders, super slick, pre CBS style deep body contours!
These early ones are the same guitars as those occasionally seen sporting Sunn Mustang by Fender or, in the US, Squier II logos. Also, Fender-like details are no accident.
The guitar is in great nick for its age and barely shows any fret wear.
The pickups are the usual no-frills variety but actually sound quite good.
Otherwise, the guitar is reasonably light and plays extremely well.
This is a full size, full thickness guitar, in spite of bizarre claims you occasionally find on line. It's extremely well shaped and put together and should be considered a serious instrument.
I'm aware of idiots who recut the headstocks and rebadge these guitars.
This one is entirely untouched and is truly an awesome guitar.
