This bass came in a Faux relic finish.
Unlike a fender or gibson relic finish,
the Ltd relic process is below surface, the surface is smooth and has a matte finish,
the paint and stain is worn underneath. No finish checking (crackling ) again the finish looks and feels
smooth.
Comfortable p shape neck, has great action and very nice fret work.
The pickups have a deep vintage sound. They are not as articulate and
punchy as many modern pickups. If you like recorded bass sounds of the 60s and 70s
these will get you in the right place.
While this is a budget level bass, it is an excellent build,
Its very easy and fun to play. While this looks pretty nice
I feel it lags behind fenders in cosmetics, however this will stand up
against mexican and american fenders in durability and playability.
This bass is in very good shape, Its pretty much as it was when
I bought it of the hanger new at the store.
