1960's Sparkletop Fender Rhodes with Peterson Era Preamp and Custom Power Supply (Sound Clip)

This is a one of a kind instrument with a sound all its own. I bought this sparkletop several years ago from a customer at the piano shop where I worked. It received new key and tonebar felts, hammer refurbishment and a complete regulation of the action. The lowest two octaves have a pedestal bump modification that give the lower notes a lighter action so the feel is more consistent across the instrument. Lastly, this Sparketop was upgraded to a 1974 Peterson Era pre amp with the classic ping-pong vibrato, and a custom built linear power supply with stereo output. The combination of the Raymac tines, Felt hammers and Peterson pre amp is a thing to behold. (Check out the sound sample below)

All the tines, pickups, hammers, keys, dampers, and hardware are completely original. The tolex is in decent condition for its age and the fiberglass sparkletop has only light scratches. The tolex cover has some wear and is missing most the red velvet lining from the inside. It is a stunning instrument both visually and sonically. It has only seen light studio use since my time owning it. 

Local pickup in Boston MA is HIGHLY recommended, but I am willing to drop this off at my local FedEx store for boxing and shipment at actual cost to the buyer. The shipping price is just an estimate and will be calculated after sale. If shipped the instrument will likely need to be tuned and setup to sound and play its best.
