I bought this guitar new back around 1987. I was on the hunt for a Fender Strat with vintage tone, and this guitar was miles better sound-wise and even playability-wise than any Fender Strat at the time.
I never gigged with the guitar. It was used solely in my modest home studio for my own stuff. It is in great shape for a 30 year old guitar. I would have listed it as Excellent, but there are a few very minor dings (see the pictures). There is some minor fret wear in the first three frets, but nothing that effects playability.
It has awesome vintage strat tone, particularly great quack in positions 2 and 4. (Probably the biggest reason I bought it - the Fenders at the time sounded like crap). And it plays great - the neck is quick an medium-thin somewhere between a C and a D.
I'd be happy do do a local pickup within 40 miles of north New Jersey. Otherwise, I will ship via FedEx Ground with signature required. Comes with hardshell case.
