American Fender Stratocaster Neck with an excellent Scallop job. A very small spot of over-spray on the neck that is barely noticeable to one who owns the guitar and not at all noticeable to anyone not playing it. I believe the body is MIM, but not sure - the blue sparkle paint job is gorgeous and 100% professional. The low E-string is a close to the edge of the neck around the 15th fret and above, which is not a big deal and it prevents slippage for the high E-string (which I think is preferable.) There is a little chipping around the neck pocket - again, not at all noticeable to an audience or the player , and also at the neck pocket the neck looks to have been shaved a bit to fit into the pocket (see photos). Dimarzio pickups - they are the HS dimarzios I took off a Malmsteen Stratocaster long ago. Awesome guitar. I have a bunch of sparkly Stratocaster with almost the same specs and I need to thin the heard a bit. You'll love it - especially if you are a Malmsteen fan.
