Grommes tube mono blocks

For sale is a pair of vintage 6l6 tube monoblocks made by Grommes/ Presicion Electronics, model 20PG. I got these in non-functional condition and did 'em up real nice to use in my home studio, and I have to say they sound phenomenal. Took a while to get there -- each one needed a new power transformer, so I put in brand new Hammonds ($$$); I recapped them both, put in new tubes (I auditioned several preamp tubes in each one and went with the best sounding and least noisy), re-wired the heater circuit to make it quieter, replaced some drifted resisitors. I'd say each unit is about 40ish watts. Currently, they are each missing a 12ax7 because I was only using the aux input which rendered that tube useless. I also originally had the tube rectifiers installed, but I went for solid state in the end to keep the heat down and because frankly it sounded better. I put a lot of time into these to get them sounding as good as they can!
