Ampeg’s Portaflex PF-800 bass head delivers a staggering 800 watts of power in a compact design providing pure Ampeg tone in an portable package. Precise tone controls are abundant with this amplifier including a mute button for silent tuning on stage, a -15dB button for active equipped basses, compressor, ultra Hi/Lo buttons, 5 way Mid frequency selector, and a fx loop mix knob to add just the right amount of effected signal. The direct output has three buttons; post/pre eq if you want a super dry signal, -40dB to squash the signal running to the mixing console, and a ground lift to eliminate background hum. Ampeg Portaflex covers all aspects of a player's needs which is why they added the headphones and auxiliary in jack to the front panel to make silent practicing a breeze.
