The body and all the electronics of the guitar are a 2006 Squier Affinity made in Indonesia. The neck is off of a 1989 Squier II korean-made strat and got refretted with Jescar 43080 vintage nickel-silver frets and refinished with gloss nitro lacquer on the fretboard side (after refretting). Only this part of the whole guitar is nitroed, the rest is polyed. The nut is a brand new bone piece that's slotted measuring 1 1/2" (38mm) between the high and low E strings. Tuners are a brand new set of chrome '99-'06 Squier Affinity series (same as the korean Squier II necks originally came with). The neck measures 1 45/64" (43.35 mm) at the nut and 2 13/64" (56 mm) at the heel. The body has H-S-H routing, measuring 1 5/8" (about 41.5 mm) in thickness and is upgraded with a Fender big-block tremolo (2 1/16" high to low E) with Fender-stamped, bent steel saddles. Pickups are staggered, single coils. The switch is a 5-way. The mod in the electronics is that the volume pot has the second tone control pot connected to it, so the bridge pickup's tone is also controlled by the middle pickup's tone. This is a factory mod and I deliberately haven't changed it in case someone prefers it that way. (You can read briefly about it on premierguitar.com if interested in the topic)

Esthetic imperfections are:

- The bottom of the tremolo block shows minimal file and sandpaper marks (seen on picture), cuz it had to be worked down a bit to fit in the cavity, since it's not a vintage, full-size (1 3/4") body.

- The middle spring hole is not available due to a little unfortunate accident of the drill bit having broken in while attempting to deepen it for the slightly adjusted block length to make room for the spring tip (seen on picture).

- Very minimal wear on the bridge and neck pickup covers (couldn't capture with camera)

- An almost unnoticeable paint run under the factory finish just below the jackplate on the bottom edge of the guitar, about half the size of a pinky fingernail (seen on picture). None of these little "flaws" affect any functionalities or lessen the quality and value of the instrument and even though they are insignificant and hidden, it is more fair to describe its condition as "excellent instead of "mint". Body material is alder, neck material is (one-piece) maple. The whole guitar weighs 7 lbs on a floor scale. All parts work as they should. Comes equipped with a brand new set of Dean Markley strings (9-11-14-24-30-38) and tremolo arm. Guitar is tuned to standard E tuning with a fixed tremolo position but I can set it floating upon request before shipping. No gigbag included but will ship well padded and protected in a standard guitar box.
