What we have today is a really nice, hardly Played Alvarez Model 5082 Made in Japan Acoustic Electric Thinline guitar... It has a Spruce Top and Mahogany laminated Sides...This is set up great. No sore fingers with this one..New strings and ready to go.. These are very cool Guitars... 

I contacted the Alvarez People regarding the age of this guitar. I knew it was older. They said given the Preamp, volume control, Eagle Alvarez Sound Sticker and being made in Japan, this model is one of the earliest like it. They dated it 1983 or 1984. I am going to say 1984 just because...

This guitar sounds really good. It has nice acoustic electric tones with the volume turned down some then takes on a pretty cool electric guitar sound with the volume turned all the way up. No batteries required on this one. I love that feature...

I am shipping this cool guitar is a Brand New Profile Gigbag. I use these for a lot of my guitars. Very high quality.

It looks good, sounds good, and plays great .....It is a used guitar so it has a couple scrapes and bruises ......Nothing that detracts from its terrific looks...see pics...it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this a lot and have not had one complaint.... It has very few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 9 out of 10 Guitar..On a cool Scale its an 11!!
