Here is a beautiful Eastman ER 4. It is a full hollow archtop, hand carved with a close grained spruce top, and a ribbon mahogany back and rims. Mahogany neck with a ebony board.I don't like to described any guitar that has been played as mint, but this one is certainly excellent. There are two very minor flaws that I bring your attention to, a ding in the binding near the neck on the top side (it is best view in picture 4). Also a tiny ding on the top, back, treble side of the head stock (next to last pic.). There is some oxidation on the gold pickup cover that should polish off if you are so inclined. Otherwise, I see no significant flaws that would impair either the function or the beauty of the guitar, and I think that I have adjusted the price fairly. The pictures tell the story.
The guitar is 16" across the lower bout and 2 1/4 at the rim. The compact size makes it easy to play and help suppress feedback, but it is very resonant and captures that full archtop sound as well.
