Harmony H162 Vintage Acoustic Guitar

A Vintage and Very Desired Harmony H162 Acoustic Guitar. Probably 1960’s. No date stamp on inside.

These Guitars are very cool. Harmony in Chicago IL made them from 1940 thru 1971. One of the most popular models. This one with tortoise shell binding on back and front of body and standard Bridge. All solid woods used. Spruce Top and Mahogany back and sides. Very cool!

New Elixir strings and it now sounds great with no fret buzzes. Action is about 3 mm at 12th fret.

No cracks on the body but it does have a some dings and marks on the body, nothing of any significance. Well Loved !! The front of body pic makes it look worse than it really is. See pics.

Waverly Open Back Tuners work great, the pickguard is still on it nice and tight. This Harmony is in great shape! Neck-Body Joint Good and Tight.

The original frets are nice and bright..not a lot of wear on them...

This guitar sounds great. You don't see these Harmony H162 Guitars everyday and they are hard to find.
