1990 Charvel / Jackson 375 Deluxe Guitar w/ Floyd Rose & Chainsaw Case.
The Charvel 375 Deluxe is part of the Charvel Classic Series. It features a dinky body, Jackson HSS pickup configuration, and a recessed, Schaller-made, licensed Jackson JT 590 Floyd Rose tremolo. The neck is maple and has a bolt on construction with Charvel's sculpted heel joint. The front board is rosewood with pearl dot inlays.
This guitar has a couple issues and hence the price. It is a superb shredder guitar and functions perfectly.
The main issue is a piece of the headstock was chipped off before I got it by the low e tuner ( the tuners are Jackson). The previous owner lost the piece that chipped off, so it has been epoxied in place and is very stable. There is a locking nut, so there is no tension on the tuner after it has been tuned, and tuning can be done at the Floyd with the fine tuner. This is strictly cosmetic and has no effect on the playability. The other issue is the case is missing one latch that has broken off, which is common to this model case. It functions as intended and does its job of protecting the instrument well. One knob and the tremolo arm are replacements.
Otherwise, cosmetically the body and the neck are in very nice condition, with very little playwear. The frets are in great shape and it has fresh strings and set up with low action. This guitar will be ready to rock right out of the box.
This is a killer shred machine and functionally it plays and sounds great . I believe this color is called gun metal gray metallic, but looks a little darker in the pictures. Picture 7 most accurately reflects the true color.
Someone's going to love this guitar......
Thanks for looking.
