Iconic, Brian May signature finished in Antique Cherry Red. This best-selling guitar combines the distinctive aesthetics and sound of the legendary Red Special with a wealth of modern appointments and superb quality craftsmanship.
This beautiful example is in excellent/used condition with no dings. Just the typical surface swirls and signs of use that you'd see on any guitar once it has been played. The backplate still has its protective seal on it ready for removal, the frets are in excellent condition, and everything works as it should.
It features an acoustic chambered pinstripe bound Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck with a 45mm nut width, comfortably spacious "D" profile, and wonderfully smooth 24 fret ebony fingerboard with medium jumbo frets. It has Grover rotomatic locking tuners, and Trevor Wilkinson's Knife Edge "Wave" tremolo-bridge for a strikingly modern look aswell as delivering smooth, comfortable performance and exceptional stability and sustain.
Tri-Sonic Style Pickups are modern replicas of the vintage '60s Burns design units that are so fundamental to the Red Special's powerful sonic character. The three series-wired, single-coil pickups feature the same retro-styling and magnet alignment as the originals. It is also equipped with six white-capped slider switches controlling individual pickup on/off and phase reversal, providing a vast range of tonal variations.
It comes complete with its original padded gig-bag, and trem arm.
