This amp and cabinet are in Very Good +++ condition. This amp was thoroughly gone through and the electrolytic and bypass capacitors were replaced (but all of the original Ajax blue and the smaller round tone capacitors were left in place), all out-of-tolerance resistors were replaced, and a three-prong grounded power cord was added. The power transformer core was also replaced with a Mercury Magnetics Tone Clone transformer, which is an “exact genetic duplicate” of the original. The speaker cabinet is the hard to find smaller and more portable version of the tone-ring Showman cabinet, with the original 12” JBL speaker. Please see the page from the 1964 Fender catalog included in the pictures. This amp sounds punchy, full and rich, and can get very loud. It includes the original Victoria covers . This amp and cabinet are plug and play ready.
