Offering a custom-built RIBBON Microphone recalling the Western Electric style of the 1930's "Box" Microphones. The all-metal (5" square) mic head is mounted to an adjustable aluminum support yoke, and houses a high quality ribbon motor* and transformer producing strong output, (frontal pickup only.) The quality is certainly worthy of use in the recording studio, voice booth, live performance, streaming, podcasts, or cool working prop. (Reproduction Western Electric badge is affixed to the back of the casing, plus decal on the front side.) A 5 foot shielded cable is hardwired with a male XLR plug.

Included is the very rare ATLAS Model TS-6 fully-chromed "Banquet Style" Microphone Desk Stand. ("TS" indicating "Table Stand".) The "Banquet Style" is an alternative to the cumbersome floor stand, (you would be able to place this stand on a tabletop, extend the riser tube, and still give an address while standing up.) The riser tube is 15" tall, extending to 26", with adjustable clutch mechanism to lock in the desired height. The oversized base is 8" in diameter, with a chromed shell over heavy cast iron and 3 rubber anti-slip feet. Overall, the condition is still quite excellent with only the mildest signs of use on the highly chromed finish ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.

** Technical specs on the ribbon motor:  (Figure-8 polar pattern with 1.8-micron, 2" long  aluminum ribbon with powerful neodymium magnets, with Geistnote transformer.)
