Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..
A 1957 United Cowboy Guitar called
the Buckeye..It features a stencil of a Bucking Bronco with a Cowboy riding
tall!. It is all original and its in great shape. This little guy is 33 inches long and 11 3/4 inches wide. It has a 22 inch scale neck and the original wooden nut is 1 3/4 inches wide..
The Buckeye Guitars were made in the
mid 1950s by United and were either logo’d with a United Elltone Logo or a
Buckeye Brand Logo. The Buckeye brand were sold by Grossman Music out of
Cleveland but were also made by United..USA made and very good quality. No logo
on this one..it probably fell off years ago.. No cracks on this guitar. Its in really good shape. Some nice finish crazing on the back of the neck and the stencil is in excellent shape!
If you have been following my Shop, you know by now I sell a lot of these cool Cowboy Stencilled Guitars. I have lots of them hanging on the wall of my shop and most are unplayable. This one however is not only playable, it has excellent playing action. Our Techs did a great job setting this cool Cowboy guitar up with low playing action..No sore fingers with this one. The perfect campfire guitar or hang in on your wall. I just hope someone gets this one to play it. Its playable American History!
The parts are all Harmony of Chicago made and original. It even has the very expensive Harmony Wavery open back 3x3 Tuners. These are the same tuners used on 1950's Harmony and Silvertone Guitars.

Some lucky buyer is going to be really happy they got this cool Cowboy guitar. They don't come up often and sell quickly when they do. It is sold as-is no returns as it vintage and used..However, I have been hand-picking my customers guitars for over 17 years now and have had nothing but happy customers. This one will not be an exception.
