I'm reducing my collection significantly so I'm selling my 2003 Squire Vintage Modified Series Cyclone HH in the Beautiful Cobalt Blue Metallic finish with nice like new hard molded case. It also has the white pearl pickguard and matching back tremolo cover. This is the original hot humbucker/single coil version not the new paranormal three single-coil version.
This Guitar Really is in nearly as new Condition and plays exceptionally well with all electronics and hardware working like they should like it just came from the factory. I can't see any fret wear or nicks or scratches on the guitar other than maybe a few very very light pick scratches. Take a look at the pictures to get a better idea how nice this one really is.
If you know much about these Vintage Modified Squiers then you know how exceptional these Indonesian made guitars are, especially the ones from the early 2000s. The necks and fretwork are excellent and the fit and finish are amazing. I've probably owned a dozen or more of these Squire Vintage Modified guitars in both Strat and Tele styles and never had one that wasn't stellar. I love the classic feel of the necks and the aged amber neck finish. I've owned this one for nearly 17 years and I hate to sell it but I have way too many guitars and need to part with some that aren't getting played. I just don't have the room to keep them all anymore. I've got a couple USA Fenders and and honestly I'm not sure I can tell the difference blindfolded. They are that good. The quality control from the Indonesian factory is outstanding!
The guitar works perfectly like it were new and plays like butter with thick full rock sound usually associated with Gibson humbucker guitars like the LP or SG in the bridge position and works amazingly well for classic rock and even some heavier stuff with the right amp. The neck just feels "right". The neck single coil has a sweet sound and the middle position reveals some convincing classic country tones that are very Tele-like.
It does come with the like new hard molded ABS case shown in the pictures and Tremolo bar with tools and will be packed very well for the trip so it arrives it the same condition that it is listed.
I hope you can give her a new home with all love and play time an awesome unique guitar like this one deserves :)
Here is a write-up and specs from the internet:
"It’s a value priced version of one of Fender’s newest designs. Like the Fender version, it offers the best of both worlds: a combination of classic design and modern features. With a 24-3/4" scale length, a small, contoured body, vintage-style tremolo, and a single coil/humbucker pickup configuration, this is a great instrument for any player or musical style. Alder body. Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Medium jumbo frets"
