Up for consideration is a husk of an interesting solid body guitar. The Gretsch Corvette 6135 is a dual pickup, double cut solid body model. In 1964 Gretsch would update their 6135 model which would have the unique 4x2 tuner orientation at the headstock. This listing is for the sale of the body and its set neck, with no hardware installed. The neck appears straight albeit with no tension, with frets that show a fair bit of wear. The body has had its cherry finish taken down by its previous owner, but the neck finish is still in tact with some bumps, bruises and checking. Its next owner could take the opportunity to source the remaining parts, respray the body and bring it back to factory intentions, or could realize their own cool unique vintage parts Gretsch.
