1957 Guild T-100D Slim Jim Thinbody Archtop Starfire electric guitar and HSC

First year of production 1957 Guild T-100D Slim Jim with vintage Bigsby B6 and newer hard shell case. Amazing guitar, great feeling neck and the Franz pickups are fantastic with tones spanning  Gretsch Dynasonic to Gibson P-90. Lots of chime and sparkle but will get gritty when you dig. Finish has typical checking but is still bright and clear. Binding is solid but does have the usual minor shrinkage common with Guild and Gretsch electrics from this era. Guitar is rare in that both top and back are bound, not seen on this thinline style body until the introduction of the Starfire a few years later. Bigsby holds tune great and completes the classic sonic palette from this guitar. Original Guild tailpiece included. Case is high quality and fits the guitar perfectly. Well packed and insured.
