Krank Revolution Series 1

This is the best version of the amplifier, before cost cutting set in at Krank and ultimately led to their demise.

This is the earlier version with the choke. Since owning it I’ve had it serviced and also replaced the power amp valves and had it biased.

These record amazingly well (check Andy Sneap’s discography) and are known as a bit of a studio secret weapon for how many albums they make it onto. The circuit is like a modified JCM800 with lots more gain, a clean channel, FX loop, 2 master volumes. The voicing has a bigger low end than a typical Marshall, and I’d say is more like a modern American amplifier like a Mesa.

Comes with footswitch (it’ll need a jack cable). Some slight cosmetic wear and tear but generally in excellent condition.
