Peavey Vintage 1996 EVH Wolfgang Electric Guitar, Ivory, Original Hardshell Case, Production #23, Inspected by Eddie Van Halen!
Rare Peavey EVH Wolfgang, #23 of the 1st year of production! Built by Jim DeCola and his team (now a Master Luthier at Gibson). A true time capsule - Owned by a Peavey rep meant to show as a sample, but Eddie Van Halen decided to inspect the first batch personally to make sure they were all set up to his specifications; by the time he returned the guitar all models were sold out and the guitar has been kept unplayed since then. As such, this is an instrument as clean as if it were just shipped from the factory. Original Hardshell Case included, which shows some cosmetic outer wear. Also includes original full color manual/spec sheet, inspection checklist (inspected by Ed!), and signed testimonial of history from original Peavey rep/owner.

The 1996 Peavey EVH Wolfgang Electric Guitar was the original Wolfgang guitar and by many accounts, the best Van Halen guitars ever made. Featuring a Maple Top with Basswood back, Offset Cutaway design with Carved Top and Black binding. The neck is a beautiful Oil-Finished Birdseye Maple with 22 jumbo frets. Also featuring Dual custom wound Peavey humbuckers, Schaller tuning machines w/Cream buttons, Floyd Rose Licensed double-locking tremolo assembly with D-Tuner, and Chrome hardware. Full specs to come.
