Built in Japan, the ESP E-II Series represents a new standard in high-quality guitars and basses. Designed for professional recording and touring players, ESP E-II guitars and basses bridge the gap between our premium ESP and LTD models, with great looks, sound, and craftsmanship built into each instrument.
Formerly called “ESP Standard”, all ESP E-II instruments are created at our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who accept no compromises in tone, feel, or reliability for their guitars and basses. if you’re looking for a high-performance guitar that will absolutely stand out from the typical instruments out there, the ESP E-II Horizon NT-II with its Blue-Purple Gradation finish is guaranteed to turn heads with its brilliant gradient color scheme over a quilted maple top. But the great looks of this guitar are only the start of the story. It’s a neck-thru-body shred machine, with a mahogany body, three-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets, and high-end components like a bone nut, ESP strap locks, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece with string-thru-body design. The sound of the E-II Horizon NT-II comes from a pair of EMG 66 (neck) and EMG 57 (bridge) active pickups. Includes ESP hardshell form-fitting case.
