Fantastic ES-335 (2018) from the Memphis Custom Shop. 1963 Reissue with Varitone ánd Bigsby.
Some great updates installed by professional luthier Steven Hellemans:
- Rolling bridge from ABM
- Locking tuners from Gotoh
- ESG-102B Custom P.A.F. repro pickups with low output from Throbak in aged nickel (€490). Wound in the original Gibson machines, you can’t get any closer to a real PAF.
The tuning stability was greatly improved by the rolling bridge and locking tuners (and it wasn’t bad to begin with). The pickups sound heavenly.
This guitar has had a headstock crack, classic Gibsons… But this was immaculately restored (also by Steven Hellemans). If you hadn’t read this you would never have felt, seen, smelled or heard it.
This ES-335 has one of the best neck profiles on which you will ever lay your hand on, feels like perfection. The grain of the wood is astonishing, even more beautiful in real life.
Original case, certificate and case candy included. As are the original pickups, bridge and tuners.
