About This Listing

I'm selling a King Zephyr Baritone Saxophone from the 60s. The serial number is 423585. This model of horn was one of the best Baritone in the 60s. The overall condition of the saxophone is pretty good. It plays from top to bottom. The pads are good (see pictures). If you want more pictures of the pads, do not hesitate to ask me. The cork on the neck will need to be replaced, but the mouthpiece fit perfectly on it as it is and does not affect the sound. I would still recommend to bring the sax to your preferred tech to see if the sax needs some adjustment. But it plays as is with a beautiful sound.

There are some dings on the body of the sax, but this is expected from old baritone saxes. It does not affect the sounds. The lacker is mostly still on the sax but there are some missing due to age. There are also scratches on the body. You can see the pictures to better appreciate the overall visual state of the instrument.

The sax comes with a sturdy case, a neck strap and a M9 Rico mouthpiece.
