Ernie Ball Music Man JP6 BFR Black Sugar - Limited Edition!

I'm a drummer so I know very little about guitars but I know this one is special. Turns out more special than I thought but more on that later. I acquired it when I bought a home recording studio worth of gear from a private seller. The "studio" was set-up for his sons but they enlisted and the equipment mostly sat. I really just wanted the Roland drums and Gen Z cymbals but it was a package deal or no deal. The owner was meticulous with his care of all the equipment and demonstrated everything. The prize of the collection was this MM BFR and a Fender American Jazz Deluxe bass.   Anyway I don't know a lot about this piece but it is nearly flawless with just some very light pick marks. He even included a polishing kit but the marks are so minor he never bothered to use it but it is included. Everything is there and deluxe case is included.
I posted the serial number to Music Man forum and the response I got back means this is very special indeed;

"This JP6 was completed on October 20th, 2010. The color is Black Sugar with the Ebony fretboard & roasted Maple neck. This was a limited edition run that was only open for a one month ordering window. These had the BFR inlay at the 12th fret. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center. "

This limited edition carried a $400 up-charge back in 2010.

The black sugar finish is really cool and sparkles when lights hit it. In fact in pictures you can see some of the sparkle when I used flash. This is the sparkle inlay and not marks on guitar. Some pics show reflections that look like marks but there are no marks on this guitar. I would be happy to email high-res pictures to any serious buyer.

It is an expensive item so will be packed with utmost care and insured. Sorry no buyer remorse returns but will accept returns for condition not as described (excellent condition and functions as new).
