The first run for this model was manufactured in 1961 as the “Les Paul Model”. That first run had that on the logo until Les complained that he chose what we now call the Les Paul.
All original parts including the electronics untouched. The tuners were replaced with period correct ones.
Great player, frets look original. No cracks or break in heel or headstock.
Can’t say the exact year because the headstock was painted over. It has a very nice matte finish because, it seems, a previous owner was planning on refinishing it.
All in all it’s a tone monster with the original P-90 pickup and wiring. A beautiful piece of history
