Fender discontinued production of the Voodoo Stratocaster in 1999, but in 2001 introduced this model which, for all intents and purposes, is a Voodoo Strat minus the laser-engraved Hendrix neckplate. These models also have serial numbers that begin with "TN7".
Full Disclosure : Pickups have been up graded to Lindy Fralin Vintage Strat pickups.The neck holes were professionally doweled & re-drilled at Noll Guitars by Jim Landry and is in like New condition. Also neck date is 2001 but body is 1999(Don't know why but body has no extra routing and was made for reverse angle pickup in bridge position so the guys at Noll feel it it correct body that came with guitar. Also the bottom side rail of the case is loose.Still works and guitar is safe but wanted to mention that too. Also a letter From Fender Verifying this guitar is pictured.
Features a right-handed alder body with special left-handed maple neck with ’60s reverse head-stock. Other features included three reverse-staggered Vintage ’69 single-coil Strat pickups, “F” stamped tuning machines, a vintage-style tremolo system. Fender G & G case & whammy Bar. Comes with original case candy pictured .
F.Y.I. non original Pieces are The Jimi Hendrix neck plate & 30 Foot white coil 1/4 chord .Just had a Pro Set up done at Noll Guitars By Jim Landry
