Up for sale is a late nineties to early 2000's year model Tobias Killer B left handed bass in excellent condition. Listing includes the hard shell case. I purchased this bass from Reverb late last year and it has only left the house once. I'm trimming down my collection to help pay for school. There is nothing wrong with this instrument. By setting it up and tinkering with it, I've discovered the following features:
- Grover high ratio tuning machines
- Bartolini radiused soap bar pickups
- Bartolini 18V preamp
- 3-way switch for mid frequency
- volume, pickup blend, bass, mid, treble controls(+, - 15db)
- Internal preamp output trim control
- Internal individual pick up trim controls(this is great if you like a really low pickup for tone on say the neck, but want the opposite for the other pickup. It is used to electronically even out the volumes)
-push/pull pot for preset EQ/mid cut
- High mass hipshot/A style bridge
- Dunlop Straplock buttons
- 5 piece laminated mahogany/maple bolt-on neck
- highly figured dark fingerboard wood(unknown species, maybe padauk, or highly grained ebony)
-Bone nut
This is a professional, American made bass with no damage or issues whatsoever. A bass like this in lefty is quite uncommon. And this one has been well cared for. Price includes the hardshell case and free freight to the lower 48.
