5 string Kay from 1942. Predates the “Chubby Jackson” moniker. Bass has had some solid repairs. Understandable for a 70 year old bass Fret markers have been added etc. plays and sounds great. Has a piezo pickup installed. This bass is kind of rare but definitely a player’s instrument. Has 4 out of 5 strings on it now but I have a fresh set of gut strings I will include in the sale.
