These are the magnetically shielded replacement of the much-loved Realistic Minimus 7. These are ideal for surround sound systems, as well as for stereo music. These work well on desks and bookshelves, and can be hung on walls.

Re-painted to cover lots of scratches on the original white paint. Extra batting added inside for sound deadening.

Work and sound great. There are lots of reviews online for the Minimus 7 - they sound identical to these.

The silk-dome tweeter on these are famous for their smooth, non-fatiguing vocal reproduction.

The Minimus 7 hit the Radio Shack shelves and catalog in 1978, to much acclaim. First available only in black, the silver ones came out in 1981, and continued until they were replaced with white in 1990. The Minimus 7 series ran until 1993. They were replaced by the Optimus Pro7AV, which were identical except magnetically shielded so they could be placed next to TVs.
