The “warmth” and “crunch” that certain great valve gear brought to classic recordings is still missed today. Although many companies have tried to emulate classic valve hardware, we developed a proprietery new method for getting an authentic valve emulation

With 6 modes of Distortion A (TRIODE) and another 6 modes of Distortion B (PENTODE), this plugin can give you many different colors and flavors of distortion from soft and warm to edgy and crunchy. Push this plugin and it will “bite” back ! Further shape your sound with The Varislope Equalizer Section of the Plugin.

Distortion Modes

• Distortion Types A(Triode) & B (Pentode)
  
• Mode 1 has a smoother tone and upon moving towards mode 6 the tone becomes “edgier” resulting in more “breakup” of the sound. Both A & B Distortion types have different characteristics on all 6 modes.
  

Input Gain / Stereo Link

• Input Gain drives the signal harder into the valve circuit dialing in more distortion. Adjust this control as a drive control for more or less saturation.
  
• The Stereo Link switch enables the channel link mode for the 2 channels. So the Left channel will also control the right channel settings.
  

Varislope Equalizer

• The Bass gain peaks at a frequency of 65Hz. The Bass Cut is a high pass filter . The ‘MID/HF’ boost control gives a bell type curve at 2.5KHz / 4KHz / 12KHz, selectable. 
• The ‘MID CUT’ cuts mids at 1KHz. The ‘LPF’ control will allow the high frequencies to be cut when excessive distortion is used, smoothing the resulting sound.
  

Special Features
POST/PRE EQ BUTTON

• Put the EQ section before or after the Distortion Section.
  

SMOOTH MODE BUTTON

• Makes the signal “louder” with less harsh peaks.
  

WET/DRY FADER

• A Wet/Dry Mix control allowing you to mix in as much of the processed signal as needed.

Installation Instructions
OSX:

• Extract the Valvesque12 ZIP file and double click on the valvesque12.pkg file
  
• Right click on the package and click open
  
• Follow the instructions to install the plug-in(s)
