Dolby CP750 Surround Sound Processor 2010s Gray

For sale is a Dolby model CP750 Surround Sound Cinema Processor, setup software, and analog output dB25 jumper adapter. It is in excellent condition and has only seen light use. Please feel free to make a reasonable offer.

Designed for use in commercial theaters and post production studios, it is equally at home in high-end home theaters. As mentioned, the unit is in excellent condition with only one minor scuff above the display (as seen in photo) and some insignificant light scratching on the top from being in a rack. It can’t be seen when the unit is installed. Everything works as new. The digital to analog conversion is top notch and it decodes whichever surround format it receives. I had it hooked up through a toslink optical cable from my Mac Mini for playing back surround streaming services in my studio. It also accepts AES and Analog signals from any device

Most Dolby CP750s listed here are missing a few things that make studio and home theater use more complicated. I have included the Dolby CP750 Setup Software v1.3.3.0 available with a Dolby Professional account. It allows control over fine adjustment to volume and EQ for individual speakers as well as delay compensation using an ordinary Windows computer through a simple USB connection on the front panel.

Perhaps most importantly, I am including a jumper that converts the analog outputs to match the industry standard SMPTE channel order (L-R-C-Sub-Lss-Rss-Lrs-Rrs). This jumper is required for the CP750 to be easily integrated in to a typical studio or home theater using analog outputs. They are almost impossible to find. In fact, I had to make my own. It works perfectly and makes integration simple using any cheap commercially available dB25-XLR breakout cable.

I have upgraded my studio for mixing in Atmos or I would keep it.  The Dolby CP750 is the ultimate stereo through 7.1 processor. I take very good care of my gear and have been selling on Reverb for a long time. Check my feedback.
