About This Listing

Our brand new Challenger Sunburst Les Paul guitar is amazing value for those guitarists looking for a first electric guitar

It took several years and the introduction of a highly successful solidbody electric guitar by a certain California guitar company to bring Gibson around. The result was the Les Paul introduced in 1952. Unlike the upstart from the West Coast with it_s flashy, modernistic styling, slab body, bolt-on neck, and twangy tone, Gibson focused on building a solidbody instrument that retained the look of its carved-top hollowbody guitars, sharing their set-neck construction and trapeze tailpiece.

Featuring a 22 fret scale bolt on neck the guitar is adorned with a rosewood fretboard with block inlays.Twin vintage style humbuckers offer warm round tone from the neck and a crisp biting output from the bridge. A three way toggle switch enables easy selection and combined with the 2 x Volume and 2 x Tone controls a huge range of tones is possible.

A stop tailpiece in and a tune-a-matic bridge gives solid tuning stability and easy adjustment of intonation and action. The guitar has a stunning tiger maple top and attractive ivory binding. A set of quality tuning heads rounds out the package

If you_ve been seeking a value first electric guitar and a sunburst Les Paul is what you_re after the Axiom Challenger is for you!
